Typically, they consist of three compartments: High Voltage Compartment (equipped with high/medium voltage switchgear such as ring main unit and gas-insulated switchgear with a maximum rated voltage of 40.5kV), Low Voltage Compartment, and Transformer Compartment (fitted with three-phase oil-immersed transformers or cast resin dry type transformers).
